The grass will always seem greener on the other side.
It will never be enough in your own roof.
And so you seek to find something.
Maybe something better. Maybe something different. Something that does not belong to you.
And you get happy for a while.
Experiencing new things. Learning. Meeting. Seeing.
Until that happiness subsides. And all you’re left with is emptiness.
You can’t connect.
And you find yourself totally isolated from the things you genuinely love.
So, you return to your home.
Just to find that everything has changed.
There is a bittersweet feeling for all of this.
You finally realise the grass was always much greener where you grew up.
But there was a cost in realising it.
Such a bittersweet revelation.
